Two for the Price of One

So, today, I have two "things" to share with you. First, to follow up with my post from last week, "Mo-Cal's Cabo Wedding", Monisha (aka, the bride) sent me a link to the "Style Me Pretty" blog featuring their wedding. Check out the awesome picture of our Passport to Paradise invite!

Onto my second "thing", we just finished these pocket invites for Darice and Jim. Darice came to me with a quilt that her grandmother made as inspiration for her wedding --she is using the quilts as linens on the tables! And, get this...it's all a surprise to the family! The beautiful quilt is made using all of these small pieces of fabric that are hexagonal shaped -- in greens, coral, strawberry, peach and yellow. Perfect for a Spring, garden wedding!

Of course, we had to use those hexagons in her invitation too. Darice went back and forth on the colors of the invite -- from a more colorful bright look -- to our final decision of the classic white and greens with a touch of color. I just love how fresh and bright this invitation turned out! This is a great example of how a "theme" can be showcased to give the guests a taste of what to expect on the big day! Enjoy!
